We’ll be celebrating at Morgan Creek Golf Course in South Surrey. We’re so excited to welcome you there and share this special day with our family and friends in a place that feels both meaningful and close to home!

The Venue

A few simple venue rules

1. Please don’t bring outside food or alcohol — we promise there will already be more than enough to keep everyone well fed and well watered.2. No smoking inside, near the doors, or on the patios.3. BC liquor rules are a bit dramatic, so please bring a photo ID and a bank card if you’d like to order from the hosted bar. Also, please do not give alcohol to minors.4. Please keep drinks in the garden and reception area only. That means no wandering with a drink into the foyer, lobby, hallways, bathrooms, parking lot, etc.5. Please stay off the golf course. It is beautiful, but it is also full of people hitting small hard objects at high speed.If everyone follows these rules, the evening should remain festive and eviction-free.

Our Wedding

Antonio and Lily met over 7 years ago, in a Singaporean food court and started getting to know each other over what's arguably the best chicken rice in the world, yet runs you less than a cup of coffee will Canada these days. Despite discovering an unexpected connection over a common academic lineage, their communications were short-lived - the bustle of the term, the distance of their exchange universities, and the Interference of a certain Hat of infamous repute conspired to keep them apart. (aka Antonio was not particular fond of Lily's hat that day)

The following Fall, in a third-year thermodynamics class, Lily couldn't help but notice on a familiar face sitting by himself, in the very front row (with the entirety of the second row also empty, and Lily dutifully seated in the third row - typically the de facto first row in these classes, as far as the students are concerned). Vague recollection stayed just that, and she moved on with her day.

A few days later, after seeing him make a post in the class's group chat seeking groupmates, she finally made the connection: here was a fellow veteran of the Southeast Asian study experience, a likely compatriote to commiserate the woes of Waterloo, with its chilling climate and bona fide attempt at providing its pupils with a Serious Engineering Education, suffer as they might.

From there, it was history. In a month, they were exploring Iceland's glaciers and waterfalls (rather than study for their midterms). In a year, they had met each other's families and were deeply integrated into each other's lives. Before they knew it, they had traveled, lived, and loved around the world several times over.

Where is the wedding located?

3500 Morgan Creek Way Surrey, BC for both the ceremony and reception

When is the deadline to RSVP?

The RSVP deadline is August 1st so we can finalize vendor details.

When should I arrive by?

Please plan to arrive at 4pm. Seating will begin at 4:20pm and ceremony will start at 4:30pm.

What is the Dress Code?

The dress code is flexible, so anything goes. We simply ask that you please avoid wearing all white or all black. Mostly white or black are both okay.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors in the garden while the reception will be inside.

Are children invited?

Yes! Just make sure you also RSVP for them so we can get an accurate head count.

How should I get here? Is there parking?

There's plenty of parking spaces at the golf course! There's also reliable Uber in the area. For those without the means to get here, please reach out to Lily or Antonio and we can help arrange a shuttle or similar.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Yes, please include your plus one's details in the RSVP form.

What food/drinks will be served? Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Cocktail hour snacks, fresh oyster bar, and dinner plated meals with an open bar is the food and drinks plan. Please indicate your entree preferences in the RSVP form. There's plenty of parking spaces at the golf course for those driving to the venue!For those without the means to get here, we will have a shuttle service within the South Surrey/White Rock area.
